Imperial Guard Training Area - Alpha

8 Player - Multiplayer Map Only...

This 8 player map idea was inspired by the stargate series to some extent...

Movement between map area can only be achieved by passing through "Stargates"...

The map consists of 4 main base areas and 5 combat zones including urban, desert, jungle, artic and Chaos Homeworld zones...

Unfortunately the AI does not recognise the gates as pathways ( Based on Ruosteinen tunnel script ) so if played in skirmish all the computer players just sit about and twiddle their thumbs...

The map is played as follows:-

Players 1 and 2 along with 3 and 4 initially have access to their bases and to the urban and jungle areas...

Players 5 and 6 along with 7 and 8 initially have access to their bases and to the arctic and desert areas...

Access to the Chaos Homeworld area is achieved via the urban, jungle, arctic and desert areas and must be traversed to gain 
access to the enemies bases...

Most of the gates allow 2 way travel with the exception of the gates leading to and from the Chaos Homeworld area...

There are symbols at the gateways to guide you around in a very basic way...

Anyway Hope you try this out and maybe play it online sometime as I would like to see how it plays...

Install all the folders into C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\W40k\Data for Dark Crusade as the decals are not all available to Dark Crusade...

For winter assault copy the files in the senarios/mp folder into C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War\WXP\Data\Scenarios\MP except the loading folder just copy the image into your existing folder. 

You do not need to copy the textures over as you should have all the textures required...
